Make Money Online…SEO- A Change Of Plans
I’ve kind of had it with the current run of so-called make money online gurus. Everything is all about someone’s next big launch. I’m just not falling for it anymore. They all tell you to put up a site or blog and drive traffic to it through FaceBook or Twitter or one social website or another.
I just don’t think you’re ever going to get any quality traffic to a niche site from social marketing. I’m sure it works if you’re trying to send your loyal sycophants to your latest internet marketing scheme, but if your niche is tractor covers or cremation urns, ain’t nobody gonna buy your stuff by coming from Twitter.
My new direction is search engine optimization (SEO). In my opinion SEO offers the best long term method of directed traffic building. When anyone goes online to look for the vast majority of things that they want to buy, they freaking NEVER do to Twitter. They do an organic search on Google (or Yahoo or MSN, but don’t kid yourself, Google is the big dog in this fight). They type into the BIG G’s search bar something like…”Where to buy the best feed caps”…or “How to make money online.” You get the picture.
If you do a search for make money online you’ll see that the number three position is held by a free blogger blog. This is “Grizzly” Brears site and I cannot recommend it highly enough (another one is Court and Mark’s The Keyword Academy). Actually the number one spot is held by a free blog as well. Where are all the Internet Marketing gurus? Where’s Frank Kern or Brock Felt or any of the current crop of same old same old shils of the same old stuff?
I’m not slagging these guys, Kern seems like a hot shit, but I’m just not jumping on the Social Marketing bandwagon, thank you very much. Do I want to make money online with the Buddy Show? Sure. But I’m going make it last

I like to call social media marketing like some of the A-Listers teach ’schmooze marketing’. It does actually work in some niches but for most non-tech, non-MMO, niches it’s a non-starter like you mentioned. Most ordinary people don’t Digg, Stumble or Twitter. They don’t want to get to know you. All they want is where they can buy quality sprockets at the lowest price. And Google shows them unless they don’t know how to change their default browser search engine from Yahoo or MSN Live.

Where are they?
Some thing no many people tell is that you really don’t need to be at the top of the search engines to make millions online…
My website is in the top 3 for the keyword affiliate marketing, and I do not earn millions… Those who are at the top stop for make money online as well…
This is were everyone get stucks.
Keep up the good work, man, and make sure you have a system in place. System is what count. Getting top rankings is just a small part of the puzzle.
